Associate Professor A. Augeropoulos is the Head of the Department.

Associate Professor I. Panagiotopoulos is the Vice Head of the Department.

Secretary of the Department is Mrs. X. Toutoutzoglou.

Decisions related to functional, education and research issues as well as the relationships of the Department are resolved in the General Assembly (G.A.). Meetings of the G.A. take place regularly and are chaired by the Head of the Department. The G.A. consists of the faculty members as well as representatives of the non-faculty staff (research and technical) and the students (both under- and post-graduate).
